BusBuzz is an independent public transport companion for everyday journeys in Israel. It helps you check stops and arrivals; it does not sell tickets or operate transport services.

Find your stop and your direction

Search by stop name, stop number or line. Turn on location access when you want nearby stops and walking distances, or browse without sharing your location.
The interface supports English, Hebrew and Arabic. Stop names and directions use the translations available in the transit catalog, with the original name as a fallback.

Know what is arriving

Check upcoming arrivals for your stop or select a particular line and direction. Live estimates and scheduled departures are labeled separately so you can see which information is available.
Explore routes and available vehicle positions on the live map. An arrival estimate and a vehicle position may come from different updates; neither guarantees a departure or arrival time.

Keep your regular journeys close

Save favorite stops and routes with names that make sense to you. Set next-arrival alerts and weekly reminders, and return to recent stops without creating an account.
Alerts depend on transport updates, notification permissions and your device. Web alerts need the app open; mobile background updates are scheduled by the operating system.

What you can do

Find stops and lines, view directions and available route geometry, compare live arrivals with timetables, save favorites, and set arrival alerts or weekly reminders.
Bus, light rail and railway information depends on coverage in the source feeds. Missing live data is not the same as a canceled service. Door-to-door journey planning is not currently provided.

Transport data and map credits

Schedules and the transport catalog use Israel Ministry of Transport GTFS data. Live arrival estimates use MOT SIRI data where available. Some vehicle positions may use Open Bus data. BusBuzz is not an official Ministry of Transport or transport operator application.
The web and mobile maps use MapLibre and OpenFreeMap, with the OpenMapTiles schema and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. These services have their own terms, data licenses and privacy information.

Availability and accuracy

BusBuzz presents schedules and reported real-time information from external transport sources as available. It does not control bus operations or independently verify every reported vehicle location. Map markers may be smoothed between updates and are not a continuous GPS reading.
Information can be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. Arrival times and alerts are not guarantees that you will catch a bus or connection. Allow extra time and check official operator announcements, especially for disruptions, accessibility and last services.
